      @mckellogs But my primary goal remains using first class as a way to introduce Big Question(s) for the course, so they'll come back wanting answers. +

        @mckellogs Sometimes I don't even distribute syllabus in 1st class: I post it, tell them to read it, & then discuss/take questions on it Day 2. -
